Boy I have to tell you, this weeks show runs the gauntlet of rock history! Sonny Boy Williams is from this area! His kin folks still live around here. Nice to have him mentioned on the show. the production is tight and Mr. Albums' voice work is top notch!

We wanted to thank you for being the greatest addition to our station this year! We've made many changes in the past, but none as wise as adding the Wax Museum to our line-up! Thank you both for all of the personal attention through good times and bad, right from the very beginning. We look forward to another great year in the Wax Museum on 98.5 UPS!

Hey Mark,
Just wanted to drop you a note to say thanks in advance for the Grateful
Dead NYE show Can't wait to listen in. I am an old head and I got my
start here at WELY doing a 2 hour dead night on Friday nights, that was
back in 97. I saw 19 shows over the course of 6 years of touring and
have great memories of all the shows some great, some good and some not
so good but all good times-- Say howdy to Russ from all of us and have a
"Jerry Christmas and a Happy New Weir"
Acoustically Yours,

We are running the show on Sunday morning 7-9am on WEGW. No problems with the downloads, promos, etc. Everything is going well. So far, I've received only positive feedback from listeners.

You would not believe how long I've been trying to find Wax Museum -- since it went off the air in Tampa. I've tried Googling Russ Albums and Wax Museum every few years and could never find it. Then, this morning I turned on the radio in West Palm and there it was. I love this show! I even wrote a screenplay back in '97 and used the show as "research" for the music.
Is there anyway to get it on a set of CD's?

I listened to The Wax Museum on 98.5 WUPS on my way to northern Michigan
last Sunday and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The year featured was 1968 and the
artist was Eric Clapton (Derek and the Dominos) this brought back many fond
musical moments with songs rarely heard on the radio any more.
Thanks!

Last sunday 01/08/06 you played a Southern rock instrumental song that
blew me away , I want to know the name of it and who played it. The song
was played right after "spill the wine" by eric burdon/War , you told a
story about some lady that died and something about her epitaph and that
the band wrote the song about her but i don't remember anything else but
you called the song a Southern Rock song and mentioned something about
Idyllwid please tell me the name of the song and the artist,I need to
buy it it's driving me crazy HELP!
Thanks very much M.Solorio

"The Wax Museum is GREAT! You sound like you are genuinely into what you're talking about. The way you describe the history of a band or artist, you inform your listeners in a very entertaining way. Lots of FUN to reminisce and to learn while doing it!! Thanks Russ! "

"Just finished listening to another wonderful Wax Museum. I grew up in Boston, then moved to LA and finally settled here. I couldn't let another week go by without letting you know how much I, AND lots of people I know, appreciate every moment of your air-time. The Wax Museum sets are always well prepared, the music history is always a great refresher and I really like the Blues Shots and your reminder of it's association with the Rock World! Thank you so much!!"
